The program appears to be very useful and an excellent tool to focus on goals and objectives for ones self.

I have purchased it and am in the process of learning how to use it to motivate myself.

I hope for the best. At least now I have a tool for change if I have sufficient leverage on myself to change things.

At first glance, I thought the first row said Get A Date and that that was one of the goals in the screenie. :ppclove: :ladysman: :iamwithstupid:

Whoever that is had better get crackin' - he/she only has 25 days left to write a novel!

Also, this app has one of the more visually appealing UI's I've seen for Pocket PC's - good job!

I decided to try this program. The problems is that it actually install 4 small programs, all inside my precious main memory. It took roughly 3 to 4 MB. I decided I did not need this after all.

Three of those appear to be SQL Server CE and the .NET framework.

Hi all,

Jimmy Dodd is right, those other files are for SQL Access and the Compact Framework. Who knows you might already have them installed.
I can't wait till we can flash our roms with the CF included...anyone know if that's still on track?

Thanks Surgical Snack for the interface compliment. I'm thinking of moving my 25 day novel goal up to 15 days based on your advice

I've downloaded the file, unzipped it and have 3 zip files in the folder not the cab files.
Should I bring these zip files into PPC ?
Also can the app. be installed on the storage card ? :?:

I tried the app out last night. It looks really good. I'm glad to see someone finally departing from the standard "Form Full Of Controls In A Straight Line" school of UI design.

There are a couple of places where I was able to crash it (technically, cause an unhandled exception) by being a stupid user, but otherwise it performed pretty well. It is a little slow to start up on my e740, but I would attribute that to SQL Server CE and CF.NET plus my own impatience.

I don't know that I'm ready to abandon my Franklin Covey What Matters Most technique for it, but all in all I like the app.

explorerw I answered your questions via email...hope it helped. Let me know if it didn't! :)

Jimmy, if you get a minute, could you let me know what you did to crash it? Some people are using apostophes in their entries which crash the sql functions. That's a limitation to sqlce but still I want to fix a work around.

If you could email me, or let me know, I'd like to make it crash proof if at all possible.

I do like this program. But one use the program without install the other 3 programs? If you would allow installation into storage card, it would be great also.

Just a note, I've fixed it so you can now install the whole package to a storage card :D

You can download it here (http://www.smartgoalsoftware.com/download_AI.htm)

The last time I bought Achieve-It! was nearly two years ago to the day and the version at the time was 1.3. I seem to recall getting an email since then regarding upgrade pricing, but I cannot find it now. Was there upgrade pricing to version 2?

It is half off the normal price $14.95.

I can private message you a coupon or if you want to send an email to [email protected] we'll send you one. :)
