TravRoute has announced CoPilot Live | Pocket PC 4 (http://www.travroute.com/products/gps/cplppc4/features.html) (basically Pocket CoPilot 4.0).
My wish list for PCP 4.0 included the following:
The ability to use the detour/do-not-use feature in Planning mode. That would be useful for calculating distances of various routes.
The ability to choose what points of interest get loaded on your device. Right now, you get a subset of the POI database for the whole country. There is a trick to get entire POI database, but that's like 150 MB. You should be able to select all (or a subset) of the POIs on the map you're using.
Support for more than 25 favorites.
Support for multiple routing options, like Shortest, Quickest, etc.
Support of a 3D map mode to better visualize your turns.
Support for other color schemes (like "Night Mode").
It looks like I'll get #2 and #4. Waypoints may help with #1, and the customizable display might help with #6.
