Can someone here help me out.
I'm trying to access one computer from another, in real time, but I dont know how to go about doing it. I already have shared files, but it would be really nice to somehow use the apps from the target computer, on this computer.
Thanks again.

What kind of machines?
Remote Desktop (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/using/howto/gomobile/remotedesktop/) might do what you want if you're using XP Pro, although when you're remoted to another machine you can't use that remote machine -- its screen is locked. W2k Server/Windows Server 2k3 has more functionality, but I suspect that's not what you're referring to. ;)

Otherwise VNC is a popular program that doesn't require XP (but is for Windows). It's free, which is nice.

... although it's worth point out that VNC is *quite* slow on Windows. If you want to give it a shot, check out www.realvnc.com.

It really just depends on what you need it for.
