Is there any freeware to enable Radio to be recorded from the net?

The only thing I have seem that does this so far is Replay Radio.

Thanks in advance

There was a program called StreamboxVCR which allowed Real streams to be recorded to rm files on your local disk. You could then copy the rm files to your PocketPC and use the PocketPC Real Player to listen to your favourite shows. A bit like Tivo for Radio.
I say this all in the past tense because I believe Streambox had legal problems with Real, and had to withdraw the product. If you look really hard, you might find it still languishing on some non-official sites.

I have an old version of Cybercorder 2000. works great with just about any stream.

And you can set it to record ANYTHING that is playing on your computer... So if you manualy start the Real player stream....

I personaly don't stream anything with real, but I think you can schedule the program to start Real player and start a certain stream, thats how I schedule recording of WM streams, I'm sure that you can schedule real as well, as long as the URL don't change...

Thanks for the response. Unfortunately Cybercorder 2000 etc are not freeware.

You might give this a look.
RipCast Streaming Audio Ripper

it is Free for the basic, and $10 for the pro version.

I haven't checked it out, but it claims to enable you to covert streaming audio to MP3.....
