I have the AmbiCom 802.11b CF card in my iPAQ3830 (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=96281&PHPSESSID=a9c3fc6ae4d2745397b84f736d155c3d) and had absolutely no problems connecting it to my home network. I could browse the web and pick up emails fine, but I need to know how to access shared drives on one of my windows boxes. Is this possible? Can it be done by FTP if not?

BizzDev NetUse (free) or Resco File Explorer ($15) will do this for you. I've seen both work. Depends on what else you want to do. NetUse does just that and File Explorer is a nice package with a lot of other capabilities.

...Netuse also... Here is the link...

You can also do this with File Explorer, but only copy/cut-n-paste files between your PPC and the desktop. Open File Explorer and tap on the right-most small icon at the bottom of the screen. It looks like a hand holding a trash can... 8)

Make sure you have "sharing" enabled on the PC drives you want to map to. From there, just use the standard file explorer to map to that drive (just follow Sooner Al's instructions to get to the map drive setup). Once you click the map drive icon, you'll have to specify the drive via the format: \\machinename\drivename where the machinename is the computer name given to your PC and the drivename is the SHARED name assigned to your shared drive.
