I had to do a hard reset and now the battery wont hold the power
the main battery is losing power very quick and the internal battery
stays at 1% even though I charged for more than 12 hours.

I called them, we did another hard reset!!, and the next thing he said
we will send you a box and put your ipaq in there then we wil get it
checked.....I was like...is that all you got in your technical support manual??? I bet you have thousand boxes there...

I read bad things about this product on hp newsgroup too

I had a problem with screen garble on my 36xx iPaq years ago. I can honestly say that HP does a very good job of getting your device turned around quickly (I actually got a replacement from them on a 6 month old device.).

I really can't blame them for trying a couple of quick troubleshoots over the phone and then just requesting it to be sent in for investigation/replacement on something like this. It's not like there is much more they can do if you have a faulty unit without putting it in a techs hands.
