According to this page (http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/selected_product_option.jsp?z=33&service=EU&PRODUCT_ID=60948&DISC_MODEL=0), it is capable of using a WIFI SD card ("1 x SD™ Card slot (supported SD™ memory card , SD™IO card , MultiMedia card)"), but it does not have WIFI built in...

Well, I don't think wi-fi SD exists yet (am i right?) and if it does it probably costs more than $100.

U said "wi-fi is not built-in". What do u mean by that? Software wise? I think once u get wi-fi SD you'll install whatever's needed that comes with the card. Am I correct?

You are correct, the drivers and software will come with the card (when they become available). I was talking about the device having a built in WIFI "radio". Some of the Toshiba models do have them...

the 330/335 (same model different boxes) don't have wifi built in, but the wi-fi cards coming out this year should run no more than $100 which isn't that bad of a deal imo if you're gung-ho on wireless

Okay, so both SanDisk and Socket now have WiFi SD Cards available through mobileplanet.com.

Has anyone tried these in the e335 and verified that they work? I know that many people have tried contacting Toshiba to find out of they will work, but have not been able to get a straight answer.

The e335 is not listed on the compatibility list on MobilePlanet, but that just means that it has not been tested.

I am seriously considering buying this if I know it works, especially because I can get a USB WiFi Access point which I can move between home and work for 29.99 here: http://www.crazymommy.com/usb80winead.html
...or I might just buy a wireless access point for home to attach to my LinkSys Firewall/router.

Thanks!
