So is everyone out enjoying the Spring weather, or is it just a slooooooooooooooooow news day? :)

I've been sick the with flu for a few days, and when I slow down, the site slows down...sorry.

... and I was out in Hawthorne, NY all day (visiting IBM's T.J. Watson labs). I tried to do a little catchup when I came back last night. ;)

I know I've been posting a lot less lately because of the lack of any real development (at least that we know about) right now.
Notice that most of the new models have been less than innovative, and those that do look interesting (Hitachi G1000) are still under wraps (at least as far as specifics go).
But I get the feeling it's the calm before the storm

I have been reading really old threads of the site and then just walking. I just realized that the sun is yellow.
I guess that not a wjole lot of stuff has been going on. I also noticed that the world seems to have slowed down with the two wars. The war with Iraq and Jason's flu.
We need to have a spy in Microsoft like Paul Turrot. He aldready has a detailed review of Windows Longhorn.

Are those two separate activities? Or was going to the gym considered part of your preparation? :D

I have no clue how he does this, or how/why Microsoft lets him get away with it. All of the site admins who are MVPs have insider info as well, but we'd be drop-kicked by Microsoft's legal team and betray the great relationship we have with the Mobile Devices team if we were to start blabbing about Pocket PC 2003.
But, rest assured, when we are allowed to talk about it, you'll find a great deal of experience with it on this site.

It's related, but you've got it backwards. I have to go to the gym to make up for previous interviews. These interviews all involve lots of eating...

Hey, I've been there!
My brother works at the Yorktown T.J. Watson labs, and I've been to Hawthorne a few times also. I should have come over and said hi! :D

Its great to know that you guys might have given feedback to the mobile device team and might have tested the new PPC OS. Its also reassuring to know that people who think like us normal Pocket PC users (refer to rants of ActiveSync) have the ability to speak to the guys in the front lines.
As for the SuperSite, I have no idea how he does it, whether its legal or if Microsoft lets him get away with it on purpose. :| Its strange but it exhists. 8O That's [insert opinion here]. Now, thanks to his [insert word for whatever he did to get the information out] I know that the new OS will be easy and short to install. (Only 20 minutes)

I should've put that as an option:
It's great outside, that's why I have my PPC with me and I'm not sitting in front of a desktop :-)
