Can someone help me out?? I wanted to post a pic of my PPC setup and one of my desktop setup in the appropriate threads but I cannot get the pics to show, it just shows a white little box with a red X in it. I have webspace at AT&T and Geocities that I try to link to but no luck.

I tried using the Img tags but no dice. :?: :?:

Here is the URL of the page that I want to show the picture of:

Hi there. After looking at the code on your page, it looks like the address of your image is:

http://www.geocities.com/ricker882000/penguin2.JPG

So, just hit the button, paste that in, then hit the [IMG] button again. That's it, and it should look like this:

[img]http://www.geocities.com/ricker882000/penguin2.JPG

Edit: Ok, that looked great the first time I viewed it, but didn't come up after that. Probably because geocities is stingy with bandwidth. If it comes back up (or if you can email it to me (PM me) I'd be glad to host it for you.)

Ah, thanks. I was looking at the darn page preview for the url instead of the actual page. Thanks again.

Geocities usually has troubles allowing linking of images... do you have access to any other online storage?

I have a cable modem through AT&T broadband and that says I have a 10MB of personal webspace for the taking but I can't find anywhere that says if I'll run into the same problems as Geocities.

If anyone can recommend a good hosting service for less than $20/month, I would appreciate it. I did a few searches and there are a million of them but can't really tell which are good and which are not.

I use http://www.below10host.com for my 2 domains. I have a plan that for $12 gives me 350mb of space, 5gb transfer and 200 POP3 accounts. Never have a problem with them for the past 3 years.

I'm using Totoal Choice and for $5 a month, I get 500MB and 10GB transfer with unlimited POP email accounts. I have not had one problem with them.

If you are already paying for space (ATT Broadband), call them if you don't know how to use your allocated space. Upload the pics and see if they work. I use my Broadband ISP's space for all of the images I use and have never had a problem with being able to view them...

Worth a shot before you start to spend even more money...

For AT&T Broadband, head over to http://home.attbi.com to set up your webspace.

Sorry I didn't reply to my own post, heh. Well, I did check into the Space I already have allocated to my account with AT&T Broadband and it seems like it will do the job to get me started (10 MB). I'm playing around with Dreamweaver now so it shouldn't be long. Dreamweaver is actually pretty cool, I've always wanted to get into flash anyways.
