I have an IPAQ 3870 and Nokia 7650, is there anyway that i can use the bluetooth directly to the computer (the ipaq will be connected in the cradle) in resemble to USB dongle, and use my internet connection with the 7650 (through the ipaq)?
Thanks in advance

You're not being clear here. Here's what I think you mean:

First, you can't use the iPaq as a BT adapter for your desktop. That's just not going to work.

Second, you can't share the desktop internet connection with a 7650 through an iPaq, AFAIK -- the iPaq doesn't have any connection sharing in that direction, and I don't think it can be used as a bridge. In fact, I'd be surprised if the 7650 supports any Internet connection not originated it.

Sorry :( I'm pretty sure I'm right, but if you prove otherwise, by all means let us know.

You were preety much right.
I guess i will have to buy an USB dongle, which is really hard to find here (because it's illegal).
But i got the point, thanks.

Illegal? You live in a country with a restricted 2.4GHz band?

Yea..
In israel the 2.4GHz band is used by the army.
And the 900Mhz is used by the police - so we can't even buy a decent cordless phone.

Wow. And I thought we were restricted here in the US. 8O

Do you only use 802.11a WLANs there?

1. We use everything! A real gadgter won't give up on one of the biggest inventions of the 21 century, so if we need to brake a law or two we do it.

2. We can legally use everything else, WLAN, WI-FI.

PS. The phones that contains BT chip 7650, 6310, T68I they come with a special Hebraw version without the ability to use BT (as for T68I, the BT will not work with an isreali sim), but it's really easy to hack those things.
