Anyone have travel reccomendations for an Axim? I am going on a business trip to WA and am just looking for general travel tips.

Also, does anyone know the availability of Axim and CF/SD accesories in the Seattle area? :?:

Thank you.

I recently went on a business WA trip too from Portland. I took my axim, pocketop keyboard, memory cards with music, AC adapter, and a pocket modem. Worked out great. Didn't miss my laptop one bit. Was able to keep all my files, show videos of my son, surf the web, keep up with my schedule, and listen to music. I also took a cassette adapter for my car so I could listen to music through my car stereo speakers. By the way, where are you from?

Some airlines have timetables available that can be used on your PPC.. Some (most?) of them are in pdf format (requires Acrobat Reader) and a few even have a avantgo option. This could come in handy if you need to change your travelling plans.

Zagat Survey has an pocket pc restaurant guide for most major US cities (including Seattle) and some international ones. Check it out at http://zagattogo.wirelessknowledge.com/zagat/.

There is also applications like Traveller that helps the frequent traveller manage frequent flyer accounts and schedules. Check the travelling section of Handango or PocketGear...

My trip was just changed to Charleston, SC. But the question still is of interest... I'll be gone for about three weeks.

I'm currently in Japan. Stateside trips are a huge deal as you can imagine. :!:

Thanks for the Zagat link... :)

whatever you do, don't forget your AC adapter. A PDA only lasts a couple of days without it.....
