Some of you have already noticed the chage - I found a site with some great emoticons, and decided to implement them on the site. I also deleted a few of the less-used emoticons to balance it out. I think you'll like them, because hey, a dancing Alf-head is important to online emotional expression.<br />:alfdance:

Those are pretty awesome.

How 'bout a smiley with little hearts floating around its head? So I can attach one every time I mention how much I LOVE my Pocket PC?

Uh Oh! I noticed you don't have two emoticon males kissing a female! :ladysman: Just the ladies man. What kind of site does this! Not what I expected when coming to a site like this! Just kidding, trying to start another flame war. Pretty cool though.

Are these things free? I couldn't find anything on the site stating otherwise. the emoticons on Dale's site has gotta very stale and I was going to suggest getting new ones however searching emoticon on google yielded little to no results.

I hope they are because I LOVE. http://www.anchoredbygrace.com/smileys/eek3.gif

Yeah, generally not a good idea for bandwidth reasons. However, the icons are very small, so it might not be a big deal. I just hope I don't see all these replaced with nasty images from their end! :worried:

Right - as I have to soft reset the iPAQ just about every time and every 3-4th time I have to powercycle the t68.

Blame HP for that. They can't seem to get any wireless drivers starting up reliably, be it WLAN or Bluetooth. (Why doesn't Toshiba have any problems with this? If there is a true problem where driver memory gets eaten up, why not load the driver at startup and turn it on/off?)

As for the T68, I have never had any problems with it. What's the firmware version on it? (Not that it matters; I was running R1C before I upgraded.)

--janak

p.s. I've moved the T68 posts into an Off-Topic thread (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=10323&highlight=) to avoid further hijacking. :)

Any tips on creating emoticons. We need some good cigar smoking ones. Is it unethical to take one of the existing ones and morph it?

Whenever I make any changes to my website (Everyone's Connected (http://www.everyonesconnected.com)) people get more excited about any new smilies than new functionality!

I'm trying to stick to just the standard sized ones and came up with this http://www.everyonesconnected.com/images/Icon%20In%20Love.gif to test my ImageReady skills. One of our users created http://www.everyonesconnected.com/images/Icon%20Vomit.gif and http://www.everyonesconnected.com/images/Icon%20Liar.gif (as in "Liar, liar, pants on fire" ) for us.

Shame some emoticons had to be 'killed' so that these new ones could live. Is there no room to bring the old ones back as well? :?:
