Hard Drive Failure...please help

My hard drive is making loud clanging noises. I lost a lot of digital pictures.

Can anyone recommend a service that will recover lost data. Thank you

Steve is right on the money (pun not intended) - true professionals like DriveSavers and OnTrack generally cost hundreds to thousands of dollars.

If you're very experienced with computers, you can try taking the drive, slaving it on another machine, and trying to copy files that aren't in a damaged area. However, if you're not careful this could cause more problems.
