AvantGo = AvantSlow!

Every so often I have this problem with AvantGo and I'd like to solve it once and for all:

I launch Pocket IE and it opens the default page (the one with the PocketPC.com, Compaq, MSN Mobile and AvantGo links) and I tap on the AvantGo image to go to the AvantGo page. At this point the little spinning world appears in the top right of the browser and spins and spins and spins... Nothing loads, it just stays on the original homepage while the little globe spins. This doesn't happen every time, but enough to be frustrating.

Does anyone know why it would do this? Anyone else having this problem?

try using ftxPBrowser to read Avantgo, much quicker.

but to be honest, I never had this problem before... PIE has always rendered Avantgo pages fairly quick.

when you get to the avantgo page, you can set it as your default start page...

And to me it sounds like PIE is trying to connect to the web, not pull up your pages stored on the PDA first, I'm not sure you could call that an avantgo issue.
