I just noticed over at alexa.com (www.alexa.com) that PocketPCThoughts has finally surpassed PocketPCPassion in internet traffic.

That would make PocketPCThoughts the most viewed PocketPC site on the web (unless I'm forgetting someone).

So congrats to the PocketPCThoughts Team!

I wonder how much of that traffic is from just me. :)

Okay, maybe not lately because I'm travelling, but when I'm home...

Oh yeah, how about me? I almost virtually keep a browser on PPCT open all the time. Too bad Alexa doesn't break it down by user. ;)

 If Dave would bother updating his content more often, he might get more traffic. Here we get updates almost hourly. I've seen his site go four days with no news. Hmm, maybe he needs some help. Ooh, ooh. Pick me.

I assume you mean Dale :)

As for his site, my personal feeling has always been that Dale's site isn't so much a news site as it is a site about Dale. He (or more accurately his reviews/views/etc...) is the draw which is why I believe he's always kept the front page to himself.

What this really is a sign of though is the increased activity on the message boards (Even without Kati & BDJ). It's a nice sign that the community is really taking hold.

As for the front page, there really is no better source for PPC News on the web so I see this as PPCThoughts ascending to it's proper stature.

Oh, and btw, don't feel bad for Dale his site's still doing quite well at #2 :)

Hmm, it shows as #1 for me.

In any case, I probably wouldn't put too much stock in this... but it's good to see how popular we are. 8)

ThomasC22 left his post with something about not feeling bad for Dale at #2. I meant to say that his site was really #3. I'm sorry about the confusion, and I'm going to edit my post. :P

Great Job, Pocket PC Thoughts! I hope this site stays at the top! :D

Wait, Brighthand is still over us...

Edit: Do they count, since they're not actually a PocketPC specific site?

Indeed, it's a 545/548. Those were actually pretty awesome units. Too bad the line is gone.

Alexa is a very strange little site - don't put much stock into what you see there (trust me on that). Suffice it to say that I'm very pleased with our little site, even when stacked up against Brighthand and other "PDA Neutral" sites.

I've stopped considering this as a "little" site LOOOOONNNNNGGGG time ago!! It's certainly powered by a small group of dedicated individuals, but the impact and size of this site has grown big-time.
