Hey whats up, I just got this pocket pc phone edition about a week ago and I just noticed today that the SMS icon at the bottom of the today screen isnt there anymore. I haven't messed or tweaked with anything other than the Items on the top of the today screen. Anyone know what could have happened?

Confirming it a T-Mobile Pocket PC Phone?
If so try a soft reset, if that doesn't bring it back your Battery Monitor.lnk has been removed from your startup folder.

Did you update the firmware? I haven't seen the SMS icon since. Not that it's important; you can use the Inbox to do all your SMS work, and it's tappable right from the Today screen.

I did a soft reset and its still gone, I checked the start up folder and the battery monitor is there, everything else on the bottom shows up except for the SMS. I know its not a big deal but it was a quick way to get there, I might as well remove everything else from the bottom cause sms was the only one I used.

... and that's indeed what I did. The T-Mo apps eat up RAM when running.

I took out the tasks and the upcomiing appointments, I also did a full reset and it didnt come back so I just took everything else out.
