Did you ever want to know "How long until [fill in important moment in your life here]"? With T- Day Counter by Marc Zimmermann you can have that information right on your today screen!

You can get T- Day Counter Plus! at Handango [affiliate link] for $4,95. Disclaimer: yes, I helped with the Dutch localization of the Plus! version. No, I personally don't get anything out of this, other than the kick of having Dutch localized software available to Dutch users. You can also opt for the more limited freeware version. You won't get multiple events, multiple languages, customizable event description and icons in the freeware version though.

Hi,

I would like a special count-down to monitor the 'pregnancy-timing' of my wife:
- count weeks since receiption
- and days till forecasted birthday

Doesn't seem too extravagant, but I haven't seen how this could be done with any of the countdown-apps.

Any ideas?

Cheers

Michael

I'm not a big fan of having additional "stuff" on my Today screen. Usually because the icons and fonts don't match up well with the out of the box clean look of the Today screen. HOWEVER, T-Counter is the only application that I do allow to run on my Today screen. I've been using it for a couple of months and I love it. Simple, clean and useful. Everything the PPC is supposed to be.

I've been using the free version to countdown to my first (and as my wife calls it - ONLY) child.

It worked well until a few days ago, when it showed 9 days to go! My time of gizmos, gadgets and SLEEP are drawing to a close

I've also been using the freeware version to count down to the due date of our first child. 94 days to go! :D

I'm going to try out the full version - I like the idea of custom event titles, and multiple events. The freeware version has earned some coveted space on my Today screen, so the full version might be worth 5 bucks.

Ah, yes. Just went through this whole 'baby' thing. Note to self: Buy all your gadget-stuff NOW. Suddenly your priorities change from neato gizmos, to formula and diapers... :(

I used to track the pregnancy of my wife with a really cool program for the Palm called HeyBaby. Don't know if the developer has a PPC version or not...

Great work Marc!

Whilst the freeware lite version didn't seem to hit the mark for me personally this Plus version is just what the doctor ordered! For an application to make it onto my Today screen it has to be cleverly functional & preferably configurable & T-day Counter Plus is both. It joins the ranks of Birthday Boy, GPRS Monitor & Lou Terrailoune's TodaysInfo.

Also really appreciate Marc's commitment to the ongoing enhancement of this application. And for $4.95 (even though that's twice as many dollars here in New Zealand with the exchange rate) its great value for money.

Thanks for the nice comments, folks. It definitely seems like I've got to add sperm and baby icons... ;-)
