when i try to use the recording button on the calendar notes i get this error message.there is not enough space for this embedded voice note.either embedded recordings are not allowed here or else the codec in use (such as pcm) does not provide enough compression. try using a more compressed recording format such as mobile voi

I'm not familiar with this issue - have you tried soft resetting the device or using that feature in a newly created calendar entry?

I know the answer to this one... you have changed the voice recorder settings. Click on "Start", "Settings", "Input", the "Options" tab, and change the "Voice recording format:" to "8,000 Hz, 8 Bit, Mono (8 KB/s)" in the drop down menu.
That should solve your problems! :lol:

Only reason I know is because I did the same thing. Luckly I tried to record a note right after I changed the setting... so I knew the root cause. :grinning devil:
