Does anyone know where I can find a decent amount of Wisbar-only skins (not Wisbar&Dashboard together)?

Try the Icbar (http://icbar.ictinus.com/icbarskins.html) site.

Try this (http://skins.hi-pda.com/index.htm) site. Lots of wisbar and other skins.

Where can I download the real wisbar 1.2 beta 4? I tried downloadin the one someone posted in the forums here not long ago, and it was the wrong version (1.0.4)?

Also, how do I use wisbar skins with wisbar, without using dashboard? Is this even possible? I want to wisbar for skinning the taskbar, but I do not want or have any need for dashboard.

Try this site (http://ppcf.mklabs.com/index.php) for the download.

Wisbar is a stand alone program so you don't need dashboard to use it. To change the skins you will need to go into the wisbar settings and change the image you want in the "images" tab and then the buttons in the "buttons" tab.

The download link for wisbar 1.2 beta 4 on that site is broken. :(

I would suggest just using Icbar. It is based on the wisbar code.

Follow the link in my previous post above.

I'd try IcBar, but I don't see any notable differences, or reasons for me to use it over Pelmar Wisbar. :?

I was only suggesting Icbar since you were having trouble locating the Wisbar download. I agree that they are both comparable. :D

Well, Since 1.2 Beta 4 crashes on my 3870, i'm using Beta 2...

Are Icbat and Wisbar Comarable or are they identical?
Does Icbar have any cool features that Wisbar doesn't?

Icbar was created using the source code from Wisbar.

I haven't used Wisbar in a while, so I'm not positive, but the following are things I believe Icbar does that Wisbar does not:

* Ability to hide certain program icons while program is running. (ActiveSync for example)
* Two custom buttons. For example, you can have a button on the bar that opens a frequently used settings menu, like the Today menu.

I think that's it. Aside from the custom buttons, there's really no reason to use Icbar if Wisbar is working fine.

Icbar's website (http://icbar.ictinus.com/) has an interactive screenshot of the program. Have a look and see for yourself how different (or similar) it is.
