"Ok, this is what happened. On my Dell Axim I see that one of the little rubber "legs" are falling off of the back. So I remember reading online about supergluing it on before I lose it."<br /><br />Superglue and a Pocket PC? Needless to say, the story goes entirely down hill from here.

Holy cow! That guy should tie bumper pads to his body, up his insurance policy, and have his forks taken away. :D

This is where you hit the power button on the remote control for your day and call it quits.
Hmm wonder if god is telling him to get a Palm?

Sounds like it would make a great mpeg movie for PocketTV. Anyone willing to recreate the scenario while I videotape?

Heh. Im flattered that that story made the front page of this site. I really didn't think anyone would read it. But don't worry. If I was supposed to get a Palm, my Dell would have been screwed up good. But I was able to get it back to normal. :D I love my Pocket PC.

Go to a local hobby store (yeah the ones where they sell planes) and ask them for the un-gluing liquid. Anit-Cyanoglue if you will.
They carry that stuff and that will get rid of your superglue without a trace.

Hi, would you mind going over to Jason's house to take a look at his Shuttle? :D ;)
(oh, the ranting we shall hear)
P.S. As mentioned above about the debond solutions, like: http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?&Product_ID=9978&DID=7

I got all the super glue off with Acetone. That is the stuff that Nail Polish remover used to be made out of. But it was banned or limited to professional use because it was so strong. Put some into the bottom of a plastic cup, and 20 sec later, the bottom falls off. Heh, pretty cool. It is some strong ****.

Ah... teenage memories. A friend and I once put an entire large box of styrofoam packing peanuts into a coffee mug with just a little bit of acetone. Each peanut melted as it was dropped in. We then set it on fire (of course) outside where it finally burned down into something resembling a glassy hockey puck. Ah, youth!
