I'm about to get an iPAQ 3970 but before I lay down the money, should I wait for the next line using Pocket PC 2003. Anyone have any idea on a release date or when OEMs will start producting Pocket PCs using the new OS?

Will users of PPC 2002 be left in the dust with the new OS? Will we even see improvements on XScale processor usage?

Get the 3970. It's the best PPC around (assuming you don't need WiFi) and its 48MB ROM is almost certainly gonna be upgradable to the next OS.
