hey everyone,

I've gotten my t68i/3970 paired up, and gone through the steps to use the t68i as a GPRS modem for my 3970. when ever i try to connect to a site, i get a message on the phone saying "GPRS parameters not supported"

any thoughts?

Thanks

Dumb question, but can you browse the Internet with your T68i by itself? I mean, do you have a GPRS signal. GRPS is represented by a small blue bar, just above the GSM signal meter in the lower left corner of the display.
Who is your service provider? Do they support GPRS? Have you subscribed for GPRS data service? It's not free.

Need more input.

(I have never seen this message on my T68i/5450.)

I live in Canada and I'm using Rogers. I can surf the net using regular WAP. I've heard that pairing any BT phone with a 545x is particularly easy.... at one point get a message on my 3970 saying it's connected which leads me to believe it's a phone problem...?

I have a 3870 and a T68m. Are you using the correct GPRS number to dial? For me, I can't just dial any number to connect via AT&T. I have to use a special GPRS dialing string.
