Need I say more? Oh, I guess I should mention there is one Pocket PC in it. ;)

I've told my friends I want one of every item for my next birthday. :D

Even before this Amazon was definitely bad for you - anyone else find it impossible to just buy *one* thing per visit? They make it just too tempting - and too easy - to load up your basket with stuff you didn't intend to get.

That caught my eye, as well. I just added that, and the 30" NEC LCD to my wish list. I guess I should start buying lottery tickets.

Wow, I am guessing that there's only one person that could buy all of these if he doesn't have them aldready or if he doesn't have any better.

Billy, are you home now?

OhMy... Viewsonic airpanel, Segway, HD Camcorder, Large Megapixel SLRs, wallet is floating towards screen.. Good thing its already empty, since my wallet would be after I went through this section. Actually, some of those prices are pretty good.

Well, I guess it's one advantage to living in Japan - Most of those(if not all) Amazon won't ship here so it's like having an extra lock on the ol' wallet.

Don't you have a huge backyard electronics industry waiting to attack your wallet first, anyway? ;)

Janak, you suck. How could you do this to me? Just when I thought I was going to be tech-happy for a year or so, you go and post this bloody link. Wanna know what tech-happy means?

Desktop w/ 18.1"LCD, AMD 2800+ and ATI 9700AIW to watch TV on PC.
Sony C1-MRX Picturebook on WiFi in living room for web access there.
SonyEricsson P800 with Bluespoon Panther headset
HP iPaq H5450 (should sell it now that I have the P800, but the screen is too pretty to break up with it)
iFP-195TC 512Mb solid-state (not hard drive!) mp3 player - best sound from an mp3 player, period.
Canon S300 digital camera (beats any Sony in picture quality, hands down - it actually makes people look GOOD, even in bars).

About a week ago I was thinking, "This is it. I have the perfect set of gadgets. I won't want to add to them or replace them for at least a year."

And now I saw this link, and I feel both tech-starved and guilty for wanting any of these things.

So, in conclusion, you suck.

Heh heh. Don't remind me. Everytime I head into Tokyo I have to be careful about which places I go. Get off at the wrong train station and BAM, you'd better have pre-paid that return bus ticket because you sure won't have any money left in a few hours.... :)

Jeez, I was just thinking the same thing. At least with Amazon, you don't have the actual products in front of you. All those products listed, while extremely impressive, can probably be found within Shinjuku or Akihibara.

Speaking of which(off topic I know) but anyone else in Asia notice that there are quite a few more devices that are based on Windows CE available for various uses that I've never seen on any web sites online?

For example I'm thinking specifically of a device that NTT DoCoMo has had for a while that is basically a Pocket PC that is branded with their logo and is promoted as a convenient way to surf the web and check your e-mail with one of NTT's CF wireless modems. They have a couple others too, but I can't remember all the details. One looks like an HPC I think. Anyone else in Asia (or around the world for that matter) notice anything like this? (Windows CE devices that pop up but don't seem to get much exposure)

Yup, I've ranted on this before (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=6715).

Sorry  ;)
