Theme development

I'm a photographer/graphic designer who is interested in creating themes for the Pocket PC. Could someone give me some guidance as to what types of files the themes are? How would I upload my own images to become themes? Sorry, I'm new at all this. Thanks!

Themes for the PPC are .tsk files. You can create them using the free Microsoft Theme Generator (http://www.microsoft.com/mobile/pocketpc/downloads/powertoys.asp).

That program will create your themes as .tsk files. What you do from there is up to you - you can upload it to a site like PocketPCThemes (http://www.pocketpcthemes.com), Pocketthemes.com (http://www.pocketthemes.com), or others. Or, you can sell them at Handango (http://www.handango.com) or some other software store.

Of course, I sure hope you make free themes. I could use a good theme right about now...

you can bet i'll be offering them for free ... i've got tons of photos of tropical locales and loads of underwater stuff as well. thanks for your help.
