http://www.softspb.com/products/gprsmonitor2/

Spb is looking for beta testers for GPRS Monitor 2.0. Improvements include warning notifications when you go over the limit, automatic profile switching, skins, and a host of other features. I recently started using the current version (1.7) and I have to say this is an absolute must-have application for anyone doing metered wireless data with their Pocket PC (or Pocket PC Phone). Don't let the name fool you; it works with any standard, including dial-up, 1xRTT, and GPRS.

Very nice, but then of course my pay-as-you-go ,02 tarriff here in the UK allows unlimited GPRS access, my total data counter on my T68i reads 35mb, hasn't cost me a penny/cent :D

I have flat-rate GPRS as well, but I find I use this app to measure my speed more than anything else. :D

Hi,

"Don't let the name fool you; it works with any standard, including dial-up, 1xRTT, and GPRS"

From the post on the main page it looks like you should be able to calculate costs for Cuicuit Switched Data Calls, however I am unable to find any settings on how to set the costs for inclusive minutes, cost for first X minutes per day and cost per minute generally. Am I missing something ?

while this is an otherwise fine product, it doesn't report based on your BILLING cycle, but calender month. I bought it, but it's useless to me
this way. www.pdawin.com monitor 2.0 is much better for this.

Are you sure? I've programmed my billing cycle - in fact, that was the first thing I did - in v1.7.

Does SPB's GPRS monitor support monitoring over Wifi (802.11b)?

Spb GPRS Monitor *does* report based on billing cycle.

Spb GPRS Monitor can monitor any connection that is implemented as a standard Pocket PC connection (connections that are listed in the connection manager). Some WiFi cards implement connection is this way and can be monitored using Spb GPRS Monitor some cards are not.
