Activesync, Calendar and Categories

Does anyone know if there is a way to keep private/personal calendar entries on the PPC (only) and not have them sync up to the desktop ?
I've messed around with categories etc. It's pretty simple to do it the other way around, i.e. keep on the desktop only but not just on the PPC.

Maybe just one of those nice Activesync features ? ! :?

Any help would be appreciated.

Did you try the following procedure?

Create a new category on your Pocket PC (maybe called PPC only).
Right-click Calendar in ActiveSync.
Select Settings....
Select Synchronize only those appointments in the following selected categories.
Ensure all categories are selected except for PPC only.
Create all private appointments on your Pocket PC and select PPC only as one of the categories.

If that doesn't work, I can't help.
