We want to start using the Pocket PC's inside our facility. We are worried that associates will try to steal or misplace the PPC and we won't be able to locate them. Do you have any suggestions as to how we can secure the PPC without having to bolt the down to a desk?

make everybody responsible for heir own device, they lost it the must compensate it, or simply create a log book on who's using the device at that time.

You'd be surprised how effective that is. When people have a personal stake, they tend to be a hell of a lot more careful.

You could use an RFID tag stuck to the unit that can be scanned for. This technology is used for tracking of inventory down to items inside boxes. You could also use this for theft reduction by placing readers at human entrance / exit locations.
