I upgraded recently from a Jornada 548 to a Toshiba e740. I seem to recall when browsing Calendar, Tasks, or Contacts on the Jornada, that when I tapped on an item to view it, tapping on the item itself brought up the ability to edit the items. Now with my Toshiba, tapping on the item won't do anything, I have to tap on the EDIT menu on the lower left hand corner. Am I correct that this was a change/feature from the 2000 to the 2002 OS?
I realize this isn't too big of a deal, but I liked just being able to tap almost anywhere on the screen to edit an item rather than have to seek out the EDIT button. Is there an option I'm missing somewhere to change this or is there any third party apps that could bring back this (dis)functionality that I prefer?
Thanks,
Marc
