Does anything have any insights on this new Watch/wrist PDA that runs Windows CE?

Actually, it doesn't look like it runs Windows CE - looks like it runs on the Microsoft Smart Personal Objects Technology (SPOT) platform. This platform uses FM to transmit information to the watch (or refridgerator magnet, etc.) equipped with the technology. It certainly looks wide enough to be housing an antenna...

I think the only "true" PDA watch is still the one that runs the Palm OS. Personally, I think the size is just too small to be useful.

I think that watch looks cool. It'd would be nice to play the fun simple games on it. Kind of a Game and Watch for the future. At least that's what I would make it be.

What about the current Wrist PDA shown on the left side that's currently available? Is this a Smart device too or is it Windows CE?

There is a Fossil watch that synchs with Pocket PCs via infrared that we reviewed last year (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2290). I think there has been a new revision since then, but is definitely not something everybody would like. Most of these things are pretty bulky and take a long time to synch.

How much will the service cost? The service offering will be announced prior to launch.

I heard a rumor that the service was going to be $10 a month. I hope it is less but I would still be willing to shell out $10 a month, but no more than that.
