Why does ActiveSync keep restarting the file transfer??

I'm trying to copy a 189mb Divx movie to my 256mb CF card thru USB & ActiveSync, yet the progress bar only gets about 1/3 of the way through, when it restarts....it's been doing this SEVERAL times now, for the past 30 minutes!!

PPC: Axim X5 400mhz
ActiveSync: 3.6

I don't know why activesync doing this, but I do know that using USB and activesync to transfer big megabyte data is really slow, really anoying, may I suggest you to use a SD card reader/writter instead of the active stink, to save your time, and your patience!

I've noticed the same thing, but I don't transfer large files often enough to justify spending a lot of money to fix it. How much does an SD card reader/writer cost?
