Looks very good but I would want to demo something like this before paying $20. Anyone know if there is a demo version?

Yeah, but they're both rampant in their respective fields!

....and both have been known to block the path of a competitor. :)
I took the chance and downloaded the game. It is actually one of the better racing games I have tried. I have come across the odd glitch though. It will lockup ocasionally. Not a real biggie.
I have it on both my Dell and on my XDA. The physical ability to play it is better on the XDA because of the button layout. You end up with a much more balanced feel, and you hands don't cramp. The Dpad control using the XDA is kinda quirky...it doesn't always react to my pushes. I don't know if that is just my device or not.

I bought it too. The AI can be absolutely brutal at times. I haven't had one freeze yet, nor one physics quirk. Very solid game, and keep in note that this was a port from the Playstation version of the game.
I'm not at all disappointed with my purchase.
By the way, there is indeed a demo available at the Handango page now.

There is a trial at the Handango site. I am downloading it and installing it as I write this.
