Aren't all scorpions poisonous? Most can't kill a human, though.
scorpion (skôr´pê-en) noun
Any of various arachnids of the order Scorpionida, of warm, dry regions, having a segmented body and an erectile tail tipped with a venomous sting.
Merriam-Webster's definition of scorpion (http://www.m-w.com/cgi-bin/dictionary?scorpion).

Hey these are some good ideas guys!! I know shes a girl, cause when I got her from the breeder I asked for a girl. And I pretty sure shes pregnant....grr....they have ALOT of babies.
Yeah she can sting and has mild venom. Most scorpions wont kill you. Unless you're a child, elderly, have a weakened imune system, have certail allergies and some other things. The danger in scorpion stings is that if you're stung once, you can easily acquire an alergy to the venom, making a non-leathal scorpion (like mine) lethal. Or you can build a tolerance! It's pretty individual.
Generally the darker and bigger the scorpion, the less venemous (not always though) they are. Scorpions with larger claws usually are not too venmous (they cause mad pain though, not death) because they use their claws to defend and attack prey. While the little guys use their tail and stinging power thus they have really toxic vemon and small useless claws

How about boss? As in you don't want to mess with her?
Or Maxim as in general rule?
How much do scorpians like that cost? Have you ever been stung? Are they mainly just to look at?

I have never been stung myself (I aviod it like plague) the stinger is pretty big and thick. If you look at a bee stinger, its almost as thick as a hair and it is fairly painful. Well his is about a half inch or 1 centimetre in lenght and about as thick as a pencil lead at its thickest point. Not something I want to get pierced by.
I paid 30 Canadian for her at the local petshop which is 20 US, you can get them cheaper from a breeder. Some cities dont allow exotic venemous pets so sometimes they are hard to find. You can buy em online for free or for 2 bucks even! at http://scorp.hypermart.net/ Problem is some state laws may not allow you to ship them outside certain areas. You can buy the deadly guys if you want too. Usually more money
They're not good pets really. Not like a dog or a cat. You shouldnt' handle them. They sleep all day and come out at night (nocurnal) and dont do much when they are out! Very unusual though! Pretty much just to look at ..sorta like fish. You can touch them, but you may regret it later.

How 'bout: "Land Crab" or "Spike," maybe even "Tank" since she is well-armored for a spider-cousin...

Yes, that is Binary for scorpion after changing to ASCII values...
By the way, if you take the above binary and repeat it over and over then use html tags to format the color... you get this spiffy page with a nice hidden message in the image. :) Ascii Binary Scorpion (http://home.insightbb.com/~tonyp/sasori.htm)
