Its ergonomic design with one arrow pad and six function buttons lets you conveniently play at your comfort, no matter where the urge strikes."<br /><br /><img src="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/images/web/keyboards_g250.jpg" /><br /><br />It's designed for 3800/3900 iPaqs; it might work with 5450s, but I'm not sure if it would cover up the headphone jack or not. A neat idea, in any case: I'd love to see it happen for more Pocket PCs.

Would love to see something like this for the Axim!

I'm not really a gamer with my Pocket PC (iPAQ 3850); however, this seems like a very cool pad for those that are. I only wish I had more time - there are some great games out there!

Is it out yet? Where can I buy one? I want one now!! 8O

Too bad the Playstation-type buttons they used are incorrectly positioned and have unusual colors... licensing issues I suppose.

i only like games that use the stylus.

Am I the only one who thinks this is a bad idea?

I thought the whole idea of PDAs was to have everything fit in your pocket. One by one these accessories add to the bulk in carrying a PPC around. Between my Axim in a case and a Pocketop keyboard, if I carry around anything more I might as well get a subnotebook (iBook or the lindows subnotebook). That way I will have better buttons and a full sized keyboard.

What would intrest me more is a BT gamepad with a USB receiver.

Seeing how I have an ipaq 3635 still, I was hoping that there'd be a version for us pre 38xx users, but I guess not . But a version for the Axim as well would be nice too.

Still won't work since that most good quality games are in landscape

That's funny that they use the same buttons that Playstations use. Only they've re-ordered them and changed the color.

I think this would be great for the portrait games, like the NES emulator. And I'd carry it with me if I were going on a plane trip or something, It'd never be for caual 'at the doctors office' gaming.

Where would you put the Pocket PC if you were using a two-handed game pad? Bluetooth isn't the answer to everything.

I will agree there, and I do not own any BT devices because BT has yet to show me why I really want it. Wireless syncing is pointless because it does not free up a wire, I still have to charge my PDA after all. If I am playing a game on my PPC, usually I have a place to put it (Coffee table, desk, or even my lap works). So if I did have a BT GamePad (assuming I had a BT PDA) and had it with me along with my Pocketop keyboard, I would use the Pocketop stand and start playing away. I do that often with movies right now. Also throw in a BT USB Reciever (what MS is doing with thier BT Mice and keyboards now) and I would concider getting one for my PC.

I think becuase I am a starving science student, I think things out too much and try to put a reasonable spin to everything. Why have something that works just for one PDA when you could have something that works with lots of things?

since the 1910 connecter is basically a 38xx connector but flipped around I wonder how hard it is to open the thing up and flip the connector :)

Really cool looking pad... though the ideal solution would be to just have PPCs support the legacy Casio D-Pad/button layout (E125 / EM500). It was perfect IMO.

Most of the games now support full stylus support mostly b/c all other PPCs D-Pad and Buttons were/are terrible for gaming.

Tell me about it. My iPAQ's typical mode of transportation is a backpack. That backpack only came about because of all the accesories I'm now carrying around for/with it.

I just recently bought a Gravis Stinger Gamepad off of eBay for $12 total and downloaded the driver for Pocket PC after reading this article at Pocketnow.com (http://www.pocketnow.com/html/news/articles.39.456tmv.stinger.htm) about how the driver was developed.

I doubt this will work -- the 1910 has a USB-only connector, and I'd be very surprised if this doesn't use the serial pins of the 38xx/39xx units. :(

There is one made for 3600 and 3700. It is made by Tigerex. www.tigerex.com

Bluetooth would be way cool. TurboGX 16 runs better with Landscape view. That would solve the problem.

Yeah, I'm aware of that one and another, but this one looks much better I think. I just wish they'd think about the other iPaq users .

yea, thoes old casio devises with the game boy layout really rocked. i had a sky blue em-500 back in the day, what a great devise for gaming. if ipaq or other companies came out with that layout with all the spiffy features already included, it would make me a happy camper.

 It's funny how we say "back in the day" and it was really only like 2 or 3 years ago :P
