View Full Version : Encoding movies with ogg sound instead of mp3

All the guides on Brighthand and pocketmatrix teach the re-encoding of movies to PPC format by using mp3 as the audio compression. I'd like to do it with ogg since it's the superior sound format at lower bitrates (to save memory). But I have a few questions about it:

1: I'm using Vdub -- and on the menu are Mode 1, mode 1+, mode 2, mode 2+, mode 3, and mode 3+. Which one should I use? What are the differences between the modes? Which one does PocketMVP support?

2: The more pressing question -- does it work with PocketMVP? I see no reason why it won't but would like some input before I start.

I realize I can do trial-and-error research to see which one works -- but I got mid-terms soon and after that all hell breaks loose...<sigh>
