Crapped Battery

So, as I'm getting some homework done, I look over and noticed by Toshiba screen is black and white and inversed colors. Two seconds later it died, long story short, its definatly the battery that died, no power without external power.

Here's the question:
Does Toshiba's warrenty cover dead batteries that came with it?

My understanding is the the Toshiba warranty covers failure that you do not cause to the unit within the time period. My e310 died and they sent me a box to send it back to them in... several days later they sent it back and no problems since. My advice is this: call the number, you have nothing to loose.
