I'm the (very happy) new owner of a Dell Axim, but I don't believe my question is specific to that device. If it is, feel free to move this to that forum. :)
I'll be getting some wireless gear with my tax returns, but in the meantime, is it possible to connect to a network share via the USB sync cable? I can surf via Pocket IE when it's hooked up, so I know that works, but when I try to map a network drive I get a "Network resource cannot be found...." error.
Any suggestions?

What are you using to map the network drive? My iPAQ is in the cradle now and, using File Explorer, I can see the shares on my network just fine. Using the Open action allows me to map a new share.
There are other tools, such as Net Use (http://www.bizzdev.com/en/downloads/netuse/download.htm), that allow other applications to see your network drives. If you enable the network, though, be careful; you can see massive slowdowns when trying to open an application (such as Reader) as it scans the shares for compatible files.

I tried with File Explorer, NetRunner, and Rescoe Explorer. All gave the same or similar errors, basically indicating that it couldn't see the network at all.
