I have a 3765 Ipaq and would like to get some more memory in it! Can i buy a 512 mb card and put it in? How would i do this? do you have any recommended memory cards?

also....

I would like a 2000 battery instead of the 950 that comes with the ipaq! Could i get a 2000 and switch them? how do I do this? thanks for ur time!

No you cant just upgrade the memory that easy. You will need a PC card sleeve or compact flash sleeve.

On the battery issue I would recommend PocketPCTechs.com.

They currently have a special going that will get you the battery and a boost in ram for about $200.

For memory, you buy a CF sleeve or PC Card sleeve (like at amazon (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/browse/-/510064/ref=br_bx_c_2_0/002-2009217-3817606))....then you buy some flash memory (CF or PC Card), and pop that into your sleeve and put the sleeve on your iPaq.

For battery, just check out this site (http://www.pocketpctechs.com/pgf.asp). i believe that you send in your PPC to these guys (though i'm not quite sure).

But how do i upgrade it?

Very simple... You have 2 choices.

1. You buy a CF or PC Card Sleeve and use it to hold CF or PC Cards that act as storage memory. The upside to this is that CF Cards are coming down in price and are readily available. They are easily swappable and can offer quick, easy and affordable storage. The downside is that you have to keep the sleeve on the device all the time in order to use the programs you have installed there.

2. You purchase a native or stacked memory upgrade from Pocket PC Techs. You should be able to get up to 128MB of Native RAM in the 3765. The current price is $299. You can put up to 256MB of RAM inside the device, but that's a stacked upgrade, with 128MB showing up as Native RAM and the remaining 128MB showing up as an additional Storage Card in your device.

The details to all of this can be found here: http://www.pocketpctechs.com/i3600up.asp

Hope this helps.

Kind Regards,
