How many of you have forgotten your Pocket PC more than twice? This is my second time in two 1/2 years I've left my PPC sitting on my desk and walked out the door to work. WAHAAAHHHHH!
Now I may have to do real work at work!

Just spend the day going through all of the forums/threads you never had a chance to read!!!
The day will be over before you know it!!!

I forgot my ancient Palm Pro exactly once. Never again. I'd lose my mind, between the music on the way to work, reminders, telephone #'s, etc.
I'm sorry for your... "loss". You should just have a courier go get it for you from home. Not cheap though.

Its really quite sad now, when I don't have my PPC in my right pocket, it feels as if a part of me is missing...

I'm speechless over your loss...truly...
Does your employer offer emergency leave so you can go home and get it?
Perhaps an emergency call from your spouse/sweetheart/neighbor that would take you out of the office long enough to get it?
Unscheduled urgent meeting across town?
Throw me a bone here, I'm trying to help...

Dude... just get up, go home, get it. If anyone gives you and grief, just shout "PPC! NEED PPC!".
That doesn't work, quit.

My Pocket PC is just as important as house keys, car keys, wallet and mobile. Actually, I've been known to leave my mobile at home, but never my Pocket PC. I know I would feel naked without my iPAQ with me at work - and get all fidgety and easily distracted, as well as irritable. Yes, I know, I have a problem .. lol

This addiction is sad... There must be some medication that can help us! :-)

They use the patch to feed nicotine to help people stop smoking cigarettes. Maybe Ironguy could run out and buy a Palm Zire to ease the withdrawal....

It's absolutely true. When I pat my pockets (about 10 times a day), I make sure my PDA is with me. It was terrible when I had to send my iPaq in for about a month for service, I felt lost.

Wouldn't that just worsen it? Have you ever sit next to a person somewhere trying to play FreeCell on their 160x160, greyscale device? I can't take it anymore. 8O ;)

You should really be careful with your advice. If I were to do that, I'd try to commit suicide after I realized that the screen was such poor quality that I couldn't read it and when I try to open excel to work on the latest budget revisions, I won't have an excel to open... Scarry thought...

Gosh! You all sound like you need help!
... well come to think of it... I think I'd say the same thing.
I never let go of my Pocket PC. Wherever I go I have it with me. I even have it beside me when I go to sleep. It rarely goes beyond 10 feet from me... just like a lot of you out there... I think you sould always chant these before even stepping out the door... Mobile, ppc, keys, mobile ppc, keys, mobile, ppc, keys... if anything is missing... you'll now it immediately.
There is nothing worse than to be out without your trusty PPC by your side... Will you ever forget your kid and leave him in a mall?... how about forget bringing your girlfriend when you go on a date?

I have finally recuperated over my day's loss of PPC usage. Thanks for all the help, but without my PPC I couldn't do most of them. I couldn't find my way home and I didn't know my wife's phone number.
Zire? Are you kidding? The worst day without PPC is better than the best day with Palm!
Fortunately I was able to remember where my favorite forums were and spent the day basking in the warm PPC glow from these wonderful social gatherings.
I had to go to meetings and stuff, but I just kinda sat there stupefied, no notes, couldn't figure anything out. I couldn't read my book at lunch (took an extra long lunch 'cuz I didn't know what time it was). Left early due to emergency (PPC! PPC! I need PPC!).
IQ without PPC: 73
IQ with PPC: 240
Sad, huh?

I've never left my PPC or HPC at home...only my PsPC (nino)
The worst thing about leaving your PDA at home is wondering if it's at home...or if you dropped it somewhere along the way.
It's immensely relieving when I go home and saw my nino sitting in my dining room table -- then I begin hitting myself. Hard.
