It's being delivered today

My father purchased an Axim for me for my birthday. My first PPC and according to UPS it's out-for-delivery. I'm not sure if he got the 300mHz or the 400mHz model, but either way I'm happy.

Any suggestions for setting it up the first time?

She's on the charger right now. I note that in the fold out instructions that it does indicate to charge for at least 4 hours. I'm installing Active Sync next.

Question though, can I turn it on while it's charging and play a bit or should I wait until it's full charged to even begin playing.

Quick replies would be very helpful. I WANT TO PLAY WITH MY NEW TOY!

I think people do play with it while in the charger, although I myself usually charge it up all the way first. Of course, it's hard to resist if it's your first Pocket PC...

Well then, I'm going to resist....or try to. I'll wait at least 4 hours before playing. If only 11:15 Central would come any faster.

Up to you :) My point is, I think it's safe, I personally tend to be very pedantic about charging. Of course, I've had several Pocket PCs by now.

Yea, I couldn't resist and started to play. It's a whole new world of configurations and settings to play with. And I am amazed at ActiveSync. All my emails, appointments...everything was synced to my Axim.
