I just heard that our community is going to put in a bid in for the 2030 Winter Olympics!

Whistler looks successful for 2010 so our town council is going to give it a whack.

About 4000 people. It varies tho, cuz we've got the skihill (http://www.kickinghorseresort.com/) and a large transient/seasonal population as a result, much like the other resort towns around here.
