I'd imagine it'd take getting used to. I tend to get seasick at Imax movies.

This would be freakin' awesome! I currently have a 24" 16x10 aspect ratio CRT monitor, with a spare 19" CRT beside it, so my effective desktop resolution is 3200x1600, and you know what? You can NEVER have too much screen area, only too large a monitor footprint. I'm all for this baby - can't wait to see what comes down the MS R&D pipeline...

Um, I don't think I would want to have to remove my screen from my head to pay attention to someone else in the room :?

It would be nice to have some sort of technology like this, where the "screen" around your head is see-through (maybe like a plexiglass material? i dunno), so that you could pay attention to your surroundings at the same time.

A rounded screen would be nice but a big one not one around my head.

Imagine if your headphones could be worn as an all over "Wall Of Sound" accoustic suit !
Just an idea ;0)

PS All for progress. We'll all be wearing them to the gym in a few years...
