Syncing to Novell GroupWise

Has anyone had any luck syncing their Axim to Novell GroupWise? We use Novell rather than Outlook here at work and so far, two people have returned their Axim's because IT can't get them to sync to GroupWise. I'm keeping mine regardless, but I'm hoping to find a solution nonetheless.

As far as I know you have a couple options. Try to run Groupwise with an Outlook plugin or get Intellisync from Pumatech (www.pumatech.com).

I use Intellisync with Groupwise. Don't get your hopes up, there are several big caveats (no support for notes, alarms and categories don't sync etc etc). I have also had problems keeping the sync conduit working (at least with my older PocketPC and Groupwise 5.5.4). And it doesn't support continuous sync like Active Sync does. Imagine that...a MS product and a Novell product not playing nice together :roll:

The Outlook plugin has some gotcha's too and I never quite got it working...my lack of tech savvy most likely.

Hope you have better luck than I did. Definitely trial Intellisync for as long as possible before buying. I didn't and now regret it.

I synch my Axim to GroupWise using Pumatech's Intellisync. It is not very good since I have to manually synch, and alarms do not come over, but it is better than nothing.
