I was reading an article that theorized that the HP1910 was capable of SDIO if the drivers were written for it. I think the issue in question was if it had enough voltage and/or the specific bus speed. For the life of me I cannot find this article.

Anyone know where this article or any info on this would be? I am desperately in love with the hp1910 but need to have wifi access or it will do me no good. Im hoping by the time the SDIO wifi cards come out this year someone will have figured out how to get the hp1910 to be SDIO, whether its a driver or a physical hack.

And yes I know about the 1915, but I need wifi not BT.

You're thinking of this article (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=7348).

However, nothing is confirmed yet, so there's no guarantees you'll ever get SDIO. :(

There was an actual news article on an internet site that went into a bit of detail, discussed the same things as that thread. Thats the one Im looking for, although that thread was very informative. The thread does look abandonded though. Did anyone finally sacrifice their 1910 for the cause? You would figure we should know by now if it can be done physically even if we dont have the driver yet.

Since I can access the net with it while its directly hooked up to the computer using the usb cable I'm guessing they'll come up with some sleeve thing for it in the near future. Remember it's a new product.
