Are there any nice .ppt viewers out there? I want to view the original PPT file, not a 800K jpeg archieve. I tried Clearvue but it is too expensive for my need(studing) I would like a sub-$10 product.

IA Presenter is the only one I've ever used.
IA Presenter @ Handango (http://www.handango.com/PlatformProductDetail.jsp?siteId=1&jid=E7C774A86674X2B482D4F168C41F9F88&productId=17557&optionId=1_2_2&productType=2&catalog=30&txtSearch=ia+presentor§ionId=0&platformId=2)

There's nothing available for under $10 - the ClearVue suite is awesome, but developers have to eat too, so...

i think if you have 3800-3900 series ipaq, you can try to install quickview plus, it will allow you to view original powerpoint file for free, comes with the iPaq :!:

hey have you try the quick view plus ? if you already installed it, could you open a .pdf file with it? because it's funny, my 3800 can open a .pdf file but my 3900 can't.....

I have the iPAQ 3835 and installed iPresentation Player from the disk supplied. It converts .ppt to view on the device (sound too).

:) Actually, PocketSlideShow is really good, adn reasonable affordable, and the shareware trial lasts about a month or so. I think only about $15.
Good for viewing and files converted on the fly through synching.

I personally like Pocket Slideshow from Conduits (www.conduits.com). It does a great job of faithfully reproducing the way a presentation is viewed, complete with builds and transitions. You can also review and edit the speaker notes. I use it all the time to practice presentations and love it.

does anyone know if quickview plus supports the voyager vga card for presenting ppt shows. I have been using a trial of pocket slides from conduits, but it is very slow to open files. I like the way ipresenter displays the ppt file on the pocket pc, but I can't get any answers from the developer on why it won't work with my voyager. Everytime I open it with the voyager card installed it says that the drivers are not compatible with this software. Please visit colorgraphic.net and download the latest drivers. ....Well that is what I did and I still get that error message. I contacted colorgraphic and they weren't any help either.
Pocket Slides seems like a very powerful application for its size, but when opening a file, it takes a very long time. I converted a ppt file that was 15MB over to pocket slides. It trimmed it down to 4MB but takes nearly 2 min. to open it. The same file converted to ipresenter was 5.7MB but opens in about 15 seconds. I understand that pocket slides allows you to make and edit ppt files, but that is not a necessity for me on my ppc

PocketSlides is VERY slow.
You will want one that can run native PowerPoint slides and which is fast. I use ClearVue with a Margi card for all presentations. Both are very much recommended.

I can't get that ClearVue crap to work at all, and I'm not about to plunk down money for anything I can't get a good idea about nor can I use in any capacity! Anyone really able to use that ClearVue stuff?
