disable "pass through" function of ActiveSync

I have installed a GPRS card on my pocket pc for wireless
connection to internet. At the same time, I want to use the "remote
display control host" software on my desktop to show
enlarged screen of pocket pc. However, whenever I plug
the pocket pc on cradle and connect it to my desktop pc
with ActiveSync via USB, the "Connect" button of my
wireless connection on pocket pc will be disabled
automatically. Is it related to the "pass through"
feature of ActiveSync?

Anyone knows how to disable the "pass through" of the
ActiveSync?

Pocket PC 2002
ActiveSync 3.5

Have you tried putting the passthrough to work instead of internet? to do this open activesync/options/rules. Then click on the carrot for passthrough. Click on work. I don't know if it will work for you or not but it is worth a shot.
