I need help.

My fiance's HP568 just won't connect to the pc anymore. I have tried soft resets, reboots on the desktop and it won't see the device.

I am running WinXP Pro along with Sygate Personal Firewall. I have checked the setting and all are setup for Home. When I attempt to bring up Active Sync from the PPC then hit Sync it says it can not connect and asks to click settings. I have checked all the cables and even gone as far as disconnecting and reconnecting them to no avail.

I wonder if this is at all related to the problems I am having with my Axim also not staying connected all the time.

Any help is appreciated.

I don't know if this will help, just hope so, something like that happenned to me twice a long time ago with my J568, the way I fixed is this:

- In AS, select FILE-CONN. CONF.
- There are 3 options, uncheck COM and RAS, check USB (I assume you're USB connected.)
- With PDA on cradle, try FILE-CONNECT in AS just before turning the J568 off and on.

That worked for me.
