Man.. I hate to even think about what this is going to do to the already impossibly long wait lead time. Glad I was able to get mine early.

They can barely keep up with demand now, well ok.. so they aren't really keeeping up with demand. :) What is the release in Europe going to do to the order times?

Irritated over the wait time? Move to Canada! I ordered a second Axim a week ago Friday, and received it on the following Tuesday. Two days! Sorry to rub it in. You have to take your shots when you can. :) Here in Canada we usually have to wait months to buy PPCs through regular Canadian channels.

Dell have told me that the lead time is 12 business days. Only time will tell if this is correct

Not still quite clear about this one, but 300mhz XScale can be overclocked to somewhere near 400mhz using the new clocking utilities, rrroight?

Mine shipped on Friday. It should be here by Wednesday, making the grand total on my wait 31 days. But I still wouldn't move to Canada... :usa

I'm glad to hear its now available in Europe. My question is "when is it available in the U.S.?" I'm at 21 days so far....

Can't wait!!! :)

Eh. Dell must like Canada or something? Ordered mine on Dec. 21 and recieved in Dec. 24. With all the last minute Christmas buyers I still recieved it on time.

My RMA device: Ordered it on Jan. 10 and recieved it 2 days later.

19%???? I thought 16% German VAT sucked.

Is there a risk of burning your PDA into a smoking cinder if you use one of those overclocking utilities? They just seem dangerous.....

In Norway we pay unbelivable 24%... but the Swedes top it off with 25%!

I couldn't handle that. I've been living in Germany for about 5 months now. I'm glad I don't have to live off the German economy for many things. I calculated it out and auto fuel here is about $4.50 per gallon, where in the states it runs average of $1.50 per gallon. I'm still trying to figure out what all this money goes to.

did dell (US) just increase the price? Now it's $224 but no rebate. It was previously $199 ($249-$50).

more imptly, anybody knows when the Axim will be available in Singapore?

PetiteFlower

The $50 rebate ended 1/19, it's been the full $250 since then. So in fact they just LOWERED the price.

Your other question, not a clue.
