The cool thing about the USB reader is that it does not require a driver (special software) to be installed on the computer it is used with.

So if you ever wanted to be able to quickly transfer your data from your handheld to another computer (such as printing documents or downloading pictures from a camera), or if you need a lot of space to tranfer files from one machine to another this will work.

As the person who originally posted this deal (at least on Pocket PC Thoughts -- I read about it on Pocket PC Passion), I didn't create a new thread for a reason. :-)

First, there was already a thread about good 256 MB SD prices going on. Second, I submitted it as news to Jason, and it should be showing up on the home page. (This deal hasn't been posted yet, but Jason did post one from State Street Online (http://www.ssdonline.com/detail_page.cfm?productid=SDSDB256768A&affid=T99).)
