If you vote for the deal that gets the most votes in the end, you will be eligible to receive a claim code only for the winning deal. If you vote for one of the runner-up deals, you will be eligible to receive a claim code only for that deal, at the runner-up discount. (The runner-up discount won't be as ridiculous as the winning discount, but it will still be pretty darn good.) Remember: you are eligible to buy only the deal that you voted for; you need an authorized credit card on your account; the claim codes will be distributed only to randomly selected customers."</em><br /><br /><img src="http://images.thoughtsmedia.com/zt/2006/wey-20061209-zuneamazon.jpg" alt="" /><br /><br />It's pretty simple. <a target="_blank" href="http://promotions.amazon.com/gp/holiday/cv/homepage/103-6748250-5685422">Vote</a> for the Zune, hope that it's the winning deal (hey, we have to give Tickle Me Elmo some credit), and if you're lucky enough to score a code, you can pick up a brand new Zune for $90. Unlike the infamous Xbox 360 offer, codes are pre-allocated, so you won't have to worry too much about Amazon's servers dying in the heat of the moment. Voting ends at 11:59pm (PST) on December 10, and on December 12, codes will be randomly distributed. Good luck!

I don't wanna drag this too far off topic, but have you guys seen that Elmo in action? It's frigging amazing. For a robot to be able to right itself like that... WOW...
I voted. Hopefully I'll get selected.

I'm going to vote, but I'd be suprised if Elmo doesn't win. Maybe I'll get lucky though, and be able to pick up a 2nd Zune unit for the wife. (Maybe I'll get even luckier and get an orange unit!) :)

Actually the Zune has a sizable lead. Elmo is a distant third. Probably because Elmo is only discounted $9.99 from the regular price wheras the Zune is an almost $150 discount.

I guess no one got the hint of sarcasm in my original post. Did y'all think Elmo would really win? ;)

Only because of the demand. That thing is in HUGE demand here.

Zune won convincingly (57.4% of votes). Hopefully, some of you will be fortunate enough to score codes. :)

Yep! I just noticed that. Here's keeping my fingers crossed... if I can pick up one of these, I'll finally be able to "squirt" myself! (Wait... did I just say that outloud?) :D Of course here's hoping that I'm really lucky, and I'll get one of these AND it will turn out to be a limited edition orange unit, and I can pass on Brown to my wife!

As I don't have a portable music player, I'm hoping I made the "cut". You know, you could always paint it orange.

Bummer, just read the rules and your credit card had to be on file WHEN YOU VOTED. Mine had lapsed and I hadn't updated the info. Oh well...

As expected, no e-mail here. Anyone from Zunethoughts get selected in the Amazon deal?

"We're very sorry!"
Nope! :( Ah shucks.
Not me either! T.T
How the rest of you guys do?

No Zune, but I did score the prime deal, a tent, bike, and swiss army knife. Since the promotional certificate from the prime deal ended up working on the tent and bike, I ended up getting around $400 worth of stuff for $120.
