I ran across this site (http://www.moonlight-tech.com/shopping/shopexd.asp?id=741) which is selling what apprears to be a non-Dell Hotsync & Charging Cable for the Axim for $7.99 (+S/H).

I like the option of not going through Dell for this (since I forgot to order it with my Axim), but part of me is concerned by the fact that it isn't from Dell.

Anyone used one of these? Would you?

I have been using mine for several days without any problems. I purchased the three piece charger set (AC adapter, synch/charger cable and Auto adapter.)

I connect my Axim to the AC adapter using the sync cable to charge my Axim at night. I used the sync/charger cable to connect to my laptop and charge the Axim during use. The sync cable also connects to the car power adapter, but I have not tried that yet.

This all seems to be pretty standard stuff. The AC adapter looks identical to others I've seen advertised. The sync cable seems to be well made and the car adapter is also similar to others I have seen.

I did read a comment from a user that smoked his cable and is waiting for a replacement and there are no other reports from customers I can find, but I am pleased so far. YMMV though.
